    8 CBR's in RAR | Dell Publishing | Release Dates Jun 1966 - Sep 1967 | 136.91 MB Total

Comic books based on television shows were quite popular in the 1960's and Dell was the leading publisher of TV comics. Get Smart is one such, based on the popular 60's American comedy television series of the same title created by Mel Brooks with Buck Henry that satirizes the secret agent/espionage genre. There were only eight issues published of the Get Smart comic, and they had absolutely no relationship to the show in terms of content or continuity. Some of the artwork was done by Steve Ditko, who, as any self-respecting comic book fan knows, also drew the original Spiderman, thus driving up the price of the Get Smart comics. Please note that Dell published issue #8 as an exact reprint of issue #1, just with a different price, issue number and cover date; but which is included here for library purposes. I don't know Dell's reason for the reprint, so simply consider it a bonus.
