Introducing , the New Sorcerer Supreme. With the ascension of Dr. Stephen Strange to another plane his amulet, the All-Seeing Eye of Agamotto chose his successor and he is none other than Jericho Drumm--aka Brother Voodoo, Houngan Supreme, Lord of the Loa, He-Who-Has-Died-Twice and Master of all Reptiles, the Voudoun and the Spirit World--a houngan (a male priest of voodoo), a Doctor of Psychology, licensed superhero and a former member of SHIELD's Howling Commandos. Brother Voodoo made his first appearance in (1973) as the brainchild of comics legends Stan Lee, then publisher and editorial director of Marvel Comics Group and Roy Thomas, then editor. Published digitally online was the prologue, , but it was nothing more than the first six pages of the first issue. Issue #1 also includes the original write-up of the origins of Brother Voodoo by Tony Isabella as well as Brother Voodoo's profile before he assumed the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme and became Doctor Voodoo.
