With that odd and somewhat juvenile title, you'd think it's going to be one of those initial-issue instant flops. On the the other hand, given Image Comics' current track record, what with , , , , et al., which I daresay puts Image ahead of Vertigo so far in the area of alternatives to the superhero genre (I have to admit I'm biased--the first three titles just mentioned are my top three choices for best ongoing series, in order), you'd mutter to yourself, hmm... perhaps it's worth a look. You'd better. For you won't regret it. Nor did IGN reviewers who gave the first two issues identical "Impressive" 8.3 out of 10 ratings. Writer AJ Lieberman and artist Riley Rossmo together put on a dazzling display. One of those rare combinations of "funny, snappy dialogue and kinetic art."

Dr. Ghislain sends C.N.V and partner Sara Nix to Tokyo to track down rogue Triplet Yashitiko Ammo (P.G.O) and things go from bad to worse, starting with the fact that sticking C.N.V in economy class on a 18-hour flight to Japan is, in the history of bad ideas, right up there with Stalin, polyester, and Axe Body Spray.
