Child of the Storm T01 - Bloodstones

A critically-acclaimed start for a comic book series (() from the French creative team of writer Manuel Bichebois and artist Didier Poli about an orphan child possessing great powers. While hunting in the woods, Moskip finds a newborn baby lying by the side of his mother who has been struck dead by lightning. Moskip and his wife adopt the child, naming him Laïth; his mysterious origins may well lie in the red stones that were originally found around him and his mother. As Laïth grows, so does the strange and terrifying power that overtakes him whenever a storm occurs. As word spreads about his strength and ability to destroy, Laïth must escape in order to search of a cure for his affliction, and also to get away from the war leaders who want to exploit his unique power. Soon the child of the storm will enter on an epic adventure of violence, treachery, love and loss. --
