Some say Alan Moore is the greatest comic book writer who ever lived. That claim may be open to discussion but it is undeniable that Alan Moore has written great comic books, among which, , is on the top of many shortlists as the greatest comic book ever written. Anyhow, is a sneak peek into Alan Moore's next series which is a sequel to , published way back in 2003. As with , Jacen Burrows will be doing the artwork. As a preview, would not be complete without revisiting the original story about FBI agent Aldo Sax so I'm posting the two-issue here in a ZIP archive. Alan Moore's The Courtyard is a 2003 comic book adaptation of a 1994 prose story written by Alan Moore as part of H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. The plot centers around an FBI agent who specialises in "anomaly theory", being assigned to investigate three seemingly-unrelated murder cases. It was adapted for comics by Antony Johnston, with artwork by Jacen Burrows, and Alan Moore as "consulting editor". Originally planned to appear in Alan Moore's Yuggoth Cultures and Other Growths, it was published as a standalone release by Avatar. From Warren Ellis’ to Garth Ennis’ and , Burrows has made a name for himself as a slick artist with the storytelling abilities. He also drew , adapted by Antony Johnston from the original HP Lovecraft-based short story to which Neonomicon is a sequel of sorts. Directly written as a comic by Moore for Burrows to draw, alongside Neonomicon is the only comic book being written by Alan Moore.
