Abraham "Abe" Sapien (born Langdon Everett Caul) is a fictional character in the comic book series , created by Mike Mignola. He is identified as an , similar to a merman. As well as regular appearances in Hellboy and B.P.R.D., Sapien has also previously starred in his own one-shot comic, by Brian McDonald and Derek Thompson, and the mini-series by Mike Mignola. For this next one-shot Mike Mignola and John Arcudi team with newcomer Patric Reynolds, who made his professional debut this summer on .
