Cairo was a comic book monthly and then bimonthly, published by Standard, which appeared 75 regular issues (plus two extraordinary case) between 1981 and 1991. He was part of so-called adult comics boom in Spain, and the named chief representative of the clear line, one of the three major schools of the cartoon aesthetic of the 80 Spanish, along with the dodgy line and represented by the magazine Madriz. Among the authors who published in it include Micharmut, Mique Sense and Daniel Torres (four assigned to the New School Valencia), Calatayud, he covered and Pere Joan. –Wiki
