Bloodbath 1-2

Despite the large - scale cross overs in the Superman and Batman titles, DC still found time for a summer cross over through many of their super hero annuals. "Bloodlines" detailed an attack from shape shifting aliens that fed off the spinal fluid of their human prey. However. many of the aliens' victims survived, and developed superpowers as a result. These "new blood" heroes joined forces with Superman, Batman, and other DC faces for a final showdown with the aliens in teh pages of Bloodbath, a series of 2 specials by writer Dan Raspler and pencillers Chuck Wojtkiewicz, Bill Willingham, Sal Velluto and Val Semeiks.
