Golaem releases Golaem 5.3.4.2, is widely used in the visual effects industry for animating massive scale scenes, like tens of thousands of supporters cheering for you in Guitar Hero Live, or huge armies fighting for the control of the Seven Kingdoms in Game Of Thrones. On top of facilitating the retake workflow for this kind of scenes, the new Layout Tool helps artists to populate smaller scenes where little to no AI is needed but artistic control is key.

Golaem Crowd is an artist friendly crowd simulation tool for Maya used in production by a long and growing list of visual effect studios. With Golaem it’s easy to create diversity and apply behaviors to create natural looking crowds in a shorter time than has traditionally been possible. This introduction course assumes no previous knowledge of Golaem Crowd, but covers all aspects of the software and is based on direct production experience, so even existing users should find something new to learn.

- Fixed blendshape deformation computation when controlled by a distant bone
- Fixed a crash when batch exporting motion files using the glmExportMotion command
- Fixed a crash when exporting a simulation with an External Entity Locator
- Fixed a crash when rendering Simulation Caches with Layout operations on missing Entities
