Interface are Marcel Thebach (born 1972) and Michael Gross (born 1966). Obviously they are influenced by the godfathers of German electronic music such as Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze, but within that context they add a very youthful element and most of all, they have real songwriting ability. Although their soundscapes are sometimes just as entrancing as the likes of Schulze, they retain a high degree of melodic content, composing with passion, melody and harmony.
