The Knitter – April 2021

Our latest pattern collection has been inspired by the joys of spring, and it is filled with bright colours, soft textures, and easy-to-wear shapes. Inspiring projects to keep you entertained include an elegantly textured jumper, a relaxed roll-neck sweater with cabled sleeves, pretty socks, and a modern colourwork top by Mary Henderson. We have two chic wraps from Erika Knight and Debbie Bliss, a handsome cabled sweater for men by Dario Tubiana, plus a stunning intarsia jacket designed by Kaffe Fassett.
Also in this issue, we admire the skills of Shetland fine lace knitter Sheila Fowlie, and explore the hand-dyed yarns of Bear in Sheep’s Clothing. Plus, our special supplement features a beautiful striped shawl decorated with delicate Shetland lace motifs, which has been designed by Viveka Velupillai.
