Staffordshire Living – June 2018

Hello and welcome to the latest edition of Staffordshire Living magazine – are you about ready for some dry and pleasant weather? We. So. Are. I mean, we are all for a little variety but it’s starting to take its toll now. If it hasn’t been snowing, it’s been raining, and we are so over it; it’s safe to say that the LIVING team are eagerly awaiting the day when it’s acceptable to come into the office in sandals… (after the May Day Bank Holiday, if you are wondering!) All hail the summer - let the sun shine bright from now on.

During the shelf-life of this issue, there are going to be plenty of exciting events taking place, but nothing more fabulous than the upcoming Royal Wedding! You will, of course, be very aware of the fact that HRH Prince Harry and his fiancé Meghan Markle will tie the knot on Saturday 19th May, and it’s such a wonderful and exciting time! We have all grown up alongside Prince William and Harry and to see them settle down and start families fills us with as much pride as if it were our own flesh and blood.
I’m sure there will be a few parties taking place to celebrate and let’s hope the weather is good enough for a barbeque in the garden – perhaps the first of the season! You simply must have a browse through our Alfresco supplement starting on page 53 – there are loads of outdoor style ideas and must-haves for a cracking good summertime so we’ll let you delve right in!
