"Incantations" proposes a programme that would trace the history of brass instruments, while exploring the borderline between spiritual and earthly music.

GECA BRASS
Since it was created in Mulhouse in 1992, the Grand Ensemble de Cuivres d'Alsace has performed throughout Europe. Its members come from the greatest orchestral phalanges (Berliner Philharmoniker, Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt, Sinfonieorchester Basel, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo…)

He has developed a unique repertoire through innovative transcriptions, and performs in many different forms and sizes.

Creation is also an integral part of its projects, which is why for the past 25 years the GECA has commissioned numerous composers such as Marc Monnet, Anthony Plog, Benjamin Garzia, and Gustavo Beytelmann.

It works actively in the fields of broadcasting, teaching, interaction with the amateur milieu and interventions in schools.
