Very nice early 70's folk rock with strong country rock leanings. Clarence White and Sneaky Pete make appearances, albeit minimal ones. Mother Hen (Jane Getz) plays a whole lot of piano, as well as pump organ and some other keyboards here, and plays very well indeed. Her piano playing in particular is gorgeous. The songwriting is very strong, the lyrics are very good, and the musical quality is top notch. The only thing that could take a little while to get used to is her odd, slightly nasal-sounding voice. Still, this is wholeheartedly recommended to fans of folk rock, and country rock.by thirstymoon, RYM
