Description
This course describes general strategies for sustainable farming: how soil works, how to filter water, how to make mud, among other strategies. As if you lived on an island. This course provides a template for planning how to live off-grid. These basic strategies may be applied to any sized land parcel, in any climate, and may be useful for people of any skill level. This course is original, concise, and comprehensive. Based on Permaculture design, this course offers a new perspective on sustainable living. The solutions are simple. The implementation may be a lifestyle on its own. This is a condensed, more organized version of "Basics of Permaculture Design: Sustainable Living Made Simple", a similar course published in 2016. Videos include colorful, cartoon drawings, making it easy to follow. Most videos last 2 and 5 minutes and discuss general strategies for each topic. Each video provides a brief overview of the core components of each area needed to build on. This course will inform you on basic functions within nature and provide a template for how to live more aligned with nature. A full text of the course is available for download. It is helpful if you have a land parcel to apply these strategies though it is not necessary.
