Description
Recovering from addictions and negative behaviors can be difficult for everyone. Addictions and negative behaviors can range from alcohol and drugs to food, anger or other behaviors that we engage in that have negative effects on our lives.Spirituality is often seen as an integral part of recovery, providing hope and guidance for those on the journey from being subject to their own behaviors to being independent and free of negative and addictive behaviors. This is where magick can help.Magick is a means of utilizing the conscious mind, the subconscious mind and the energies around us to change our own behaviors from negative to positive and to manifest the conditions in life that we want to manifest. In Magickal Recovery, we can use magick to change our addictive behaviors and replace them with more positive ones and call on spirits to assist us in our efforts to free ourselves from behaviors that hurt ourselves and others. My story: I was addicted to alcohol for several years, and now find myself at over five years of sobriety. I utilized magick in my recovery efforts to free myself from alcohol and want to share those methods that I used to find sobriety to others.NOTE: This course is not meant as a substitute for medical advice or treatment, but is suggested as an addition to any addiction or recovery program.
