It is important that you tell the truth in your story. Don`t ever abuse this and lie to people. The real success will come if you come from a mindset to help people with your advice.

You can position yourself as an expert two ways:
You can show people your own results and how to achieve them.
You can interview top people in your field and report on their results. The great example of that is Napoleon Hill`s book Think and grow rich. He did exactly that. If you haven`t read the book I strongly recommend you do.

When you share your expert story you have to add your story of struggle and your story of success. Your story of struggle will connect you with your audience. They will find themselves in it. Once again the story needs to be true. The next step is to show your audience how you found a solution to the solve the problems. Your story of success will capitalize the bond of trust between you and your costumer.

With this technique you don`t have to try hard to sell something, because in your marketing massage you are already giving them value. If they like your free content they would want to take it to the next level and buy from you.
