Saint Jean sur Mer: The chronicles of a French narrow gauge railway.

In the Summer of 1958, the Cote de Picardie narrow gauge railway is struggling to survive - money is tight and when something goes wrong, as it often does, the staff have to cope as best they can. Jacques Rodin, the Chef de Gare at St Jean sur Mer station, generally rises to the occasion with his customary good humour and manages to keep the trains running despite everything that fate throws at him.
